The amount of work it takes to modify it, you are better off starting from scratch. Or find one of the old RE conversion trusses for 3" tubes.
Just to be on the same page here
I was talking about the front axle, The control arm I bought from you and the truss I bought from Gerald too will be for my Hp30 front
I got a little off track talking about a front axle....

I'm thinking more material abrasion than load, but I guess that is assuming he will be hitting and dragging across rocks.
Look what happens if he adds some 1/8" wall to his 3" tubes as an abrasion guard.
I'm not saying he will get the full additional strength but this shows why adding OD is far better than internal sleeves.

Welp I should have a harder time breaking this ford 9" 😝
I got a set of REM polished gears from quick performance,They're pretty damn cheap compared to a Dana 44. Gears alone for a Dana 44 with rem polishing from revolution is 330 bucks or so
The ford 9" gears are 240 Shipped 😁

Pinion support will come in handy too on the 9" !
I should be getting my brackets and what not by Saturday or monday! I gotta send my shafts out to "Dutchman axles" to get resplined since my currie cut to fit shafts are a bit too long....
And got from there
Thinking of running a Core 4x4 track bar that has jhonny joints on both ends,It's pretty cheap! And If I have any clearances issues I'll have the flexibility to move the Track bar bracket around 😁
Thoughts on this track bar?
