https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/slick-rock-deer-valley-trail-june-27-28th.34057/Well we will have to see if I get the lift done by then, (do I need it to be lifted to do those trails?), or if the country will be open in time to do it.
Sounds like fun though. Where is the info on it??
I heard Deer Valley is an easier trail than slick rock. Slick rock has sections on the more difficult side but I've never been personally so I can't give you a personal rating. You can find tons of videos online on the trails. @bobthetj03 has done the trails though multiple times on a 2" lift and 33's.
The lower mounts bolt hole on the axle will need to be drilled out a bit larger. Very easy to do.Ok, I was reading the info on the JKS front bar and it says "minor drilling to install". What do I have to drill? Shouldn't it just hook to where the old one was hooked too?
bumps would be needed if you increased your tire size to keep the wheels out of the fenders. While you have your springs off do yourself a favor and cycle the suspension. You'll quickly figure out if you need additional bump and exactly how much. Make sure to pull the rubber stoppers out that contact the spring pad before doing so though since we don't count them as they will flatten out over load. No, I haven't picked up any bump stops yet. Do I still need those if I have the 0-2" Rancho shocks? I was under the impression I need them if I had taller shocks. It's still so confusing to me on what I need. I keep hearing different things all the time. I heard that I could get away with just the relocation bracket in the back, but then I also hear that the front would still be off if I didn't get an adjustable bar for it. Then I hear it will steer fine with just doing the relocation bracket in the back, but then I hear it won't. LOL
Right now I want to do as little as needed to put the springs on. If I can get buy with the stock sway bars in the rear, I will do it for now. Eventually, I probably change it all out anyway as they are all old and needing to be replaced. But for now, just want to get it lifted.![]()
