Do the two connectors you show in your second picture go to the transfer case?

Yes one to the speed sensor and one to the harness.

Adding a link to this thing in the OP, it is a steal at $70 with the connectors.

Install and set up was pretty easy. The box is very small. I ended up putting under the park brake. I don't plan on changing gears or tire size so I don't think I need easy access. I wish i would have drilled the tub a little farther forward on the near vertical step up. For where I mounted my box a 14" harness would be enough.

The speed sensor connector attaches to the top of the TC and the other connector was dangling by small wires. The zip ties are ugly but no one will see the unless something goes very wrong.
