Hey, everyone. I've got what's essentially a stock TJ here and it has this cylinder attached to the steering. These are pictures taken from the modded one I bought, swapping engines and lift and all due to bad frame. They both have this, and I don't think it's hydro assist, because it looks stock, but I'm not sure. If anyone could help me figure out what it is and it's purpose, that'd be insanely appreciated. Thank you!

You know, it very well may be. I'm not certain, new to these guys, but that is a very likely possibility

Just looks like a shock, I don't know what it's for. As previously mentioned, it may very well be that it's the stabilizer and I'm an idiot, but I'm not sure. I have no clue what the purpose for it is.
