There's definitely more room behind the rear seat. That's the biggest thing I miss from my JKR.Actually it doesn’t seem like it, but there really is more room in the cabin. Back feels roomier also. Not a huge difference but it’s noticebale for sure

The wider stance helps with the ride too. Not as rugged looking as the tj, but ride comfort was gained from the bodystyle change. The JL rides even better than the JKThere's definitely more room behind the rear seat. That's the biggest thing I miss from my JKR.
JKR. That brings up a good point though that I'd like to discuss in a moment...JKR, not JKUR, right?
Yes, they are. For some stupid reason half doors are mandatory to me. Even though JK(U) upper halves tend to leak like sieves and I live in rain country.Jk half doors are as rare as hen's teeth, good find.
We've had the JKU on several long road trips. Works great except for me and the passenger front seat. That kills my back after awhile. The wider stance helps with the ride too. No issues with the longer wheelbase? Break-over angles? Turning radius? We had 2 JKU's on our Moab trip in 2016. They did pretty darn good.
You must be thinking 4 door, cause a JKR will have minimal room gains over a TJ.
Okay you two needs to stop. We from the other side of the fence is jealous of your financial status. All I can say is that you clearly have deeper pockets than I do, that's for sure! :risas3:
X2 to this...... im at the point where the accountant (wife) is making me choose guns or jeeps.Okay you two needs to stop. We from the other side of the fence is jealous of your financial status.
Hey neighbor you are so darn lucky. For me I was not given anything to choose fromX2 to this...... im at the point where the accountant (wife) is making me choose guns or jeeps.
I thought guns and Jeeps go hand in hand? Your Jeep gets you out in the woods to go hunting or shooting.X2 to this...... im at the point where the accountant (wife) is making me choose guns or jeeps.
But after dropping 2,500 to build a 6.5 creadmore ar-10 she was a little bit pissed. (That included the scope and trigger.)I thought guns and Jeeps go hand in hand? Your Jeep gets you out in the woods to go hunting or shooting.

Yeah 1.25 a round hurts.I had a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor version.
I had to sell it due to the cost of ammo. It was either that or the Jeep... Can't have this many expensive hobbies!
