People who don't like the AR or Swayloc don't understand what driving a vehicle that is under control in off road situations really means and how it feels compared to being disconnected.

There is also a lot of not understanding the role good shocks play in controlling movement and complimenting the sway bars.
my rancho RS5000X have been good enough for the last two years... and for 236 bucks for the 4 shocks.. you cant complaint...
If you're buying the control arm anyway, I'd get the Sway Lock over Johnny Joints. Though if you're starting with control arms, then I'd address other things you might need first. Shocks, springs, trackbar, draglink, drive shafts, etc. The sway lock is nice, but it's more of a convenience than a necessity.
yeah I already have all of those.... trackbars, CA's, tummy tuck, DC driveshaft, etc....... that's why I was considering improving my flex with Johnny joints in the control arms vs improving my useable flex and traction with the antirock.... maaaaybe regear could be in the ecuation for the "to do" list... but since I want to make a LS Swap in the next year or so.... my current 4.10 will be good for the 5.3 with the 4L60/80 for 35 inch tires....
One of my tuned remote reservoir shocks costs as much as four of yours and transformed how the Jeep drives and behaves into something one would never expect from a lifted Jeep on big tires. I can't complain either.
I feel the same about my Swayloc. As soon as I leave the trail I can tell immediately if I forgot to flip the lock. I'm up to 3, got one of his thimbles too
I had quick connects prior. Swayloc is significantly quicker and easier to use. Off road theres a bunch of info about benfits of swaylock and antirock vrs just removing links.
