That’s a good question. Seems like taking it off for harder trails might be the solution.

Warrior Products. But I don't know how well it fits over corner armor.

I have a tailgate! I also got the wheel wells bolted and epoxied in.

Next step is bolting the fiberglass outer to the wood floor. Linear Actuators are also supposed to be arriving this week.

Not a very exciting update but a big milestone and a lot of work. Many many bolts later the fiberglass section is attached to the wooden base all the way around. That metal bracket you see in the foreground is the reinforcement and attachment point for the tailgate cables and is the next project.

I plan to coat the whole inside and then bottom with some type of bed liner.

This roll on stuff is what the instructions recommend.

I may also get a quote from a local Line-x place.

I guess the positive side of the roll on one is I could take the panels all off and then coat them separately then reassemble that would allow me not to cover the bolts in case I ever needed to replace a piece due to damage.

That being said I am leaning towards Line-x because I could have it sprayed and would likely never have to worry about it again.

The outside is getting painted to match the Jeep.

Line X is a top shelf product, but is pricey. Upol Raptor liner is a nice DIY product that gives a nice texture and is a 2K product.
