Due to the hub conversion being necessary to solve the vibration problems I was having I needed to get new wheels. The hub conversion pushes the wheels out 1” in the front so my previous wheels would not work.
There where only two wheels that met the size criteria.
I ended up going with Method MR305 NV’s. I was worried the black would not look good but am actually really happy with how it came out.
They are 17 in. x 8.5 in. 4.75 in. Backspace
Blaine custom made me hub centric spacers for the back and installed extended wheel studs all the way around. It’s a awesome little detail and is great to no longer use adapters and have to deal with hidden lug nuts.

To clarify, I did not make them, I drew them up on a napkin and had a local machine shop make them. They are .625 thick 6061 T6 spacers that are hub centric both ways. I measured the ID of the rim center bore and the OD of the axle hub pilot for the center bore of the spacer.
Mike, it isn't the hydro assist that changes the effort. It is transparent. What changes the effort is the spec on the torsion bar in the steering gear.

Ok here are some misc detail shots.
I was SO excited Blaine was able to fix the hole I mis-drilled when installing the bumper reinforcements originally. I am way to OCD to have the bolt missing and am so glad he was able to fix it.
Blaine modified the tub sliders to clear the Moryde tire carrier and made it match up on both sides. It is probably my favorite detail of the whole thing and really brings it together. I was worried the tub sliders where going to stand out way too much and make the whole thing look off.
He bent the shifter so that my knuckles no longer hit the dash. The Savvy tummy tuck brought the shifter to close to the dash. This is actually a really big driveability improvement. (And yes I need a new boot shifter boot)
In this photo you can see the Wizard Brackets on the rear caliper to give more room for outboarding the rear shocks.
A awesome trim piece Blaine makes which he installed in the back. Love this detail!
He even cleaned up my battery cables while it was there.

Really a cut above. I had the privilege of seeing a few pics of your jeep (not knowing it was yours) to discuss my build plans with Blaine. Seeing how amazing your jeep is solidifies some decisions I’m making now. Amazing Jeep. Classic but very capable! Well done

Ok now onto Door show and tell.
Took the doors off this morning to drive up to my parents house to pick up the other doors. Since we went separate ways on the way home.
Doorless
New half doors, Blaine had them painted, dyed the interior panels to match the dash. And installed all new weatherstripping. They are basically brand new. I had a brand new set of mirrors waiting at home that I installed this morning, and had a set new soft uppers ready to go as well.
We also got the Savvy trail doors powder coated to match the bumpers and sliders.
On top of this he got them all adjusted perfectly and I can switch between them all and they work perfect.
LOVE having all these options.

Looking at the trim piece, I realize that I forgot to put some Velcro back down for the end of the Bed Rug. It was holding up the inside edge of the trim so I removed it and was going to replace it. If you don't have some, I can send some over with my apologies for missing that.
We also fixed the keeper on the outside latch and corrected the fasteners for the inside door pulls. The battery terminals also include shortened winch cables and a bit of rerouting that mess you had.
Fortunately my OCD kicked in with an answer on the missing bolts in the bumper corners. They were missing until about 2 hours before you got here.

Not that anyone should but the half doors are keyed to the ignition keys. But yes, they are all adjusted perfectly.
Don't forget to check the rear window defroster from time to time to make sure the repair still works.
I thought so. Just missed the hub conversion for the most part.That’s some good guessing!

I actually got them because of your thread. I like them a lot, the headlights and the fog lights really make driving at night more enjoyable.
Wheels are Method MR305.
