Shit! Just heard there is a fire east of Chico heading up to the High Lakes area. Frick'in crazy! November and still in fire season,nuts! I can see the smoke over the mountains from here. How's it looking at your end @Thunderhead?

I have friend in Paradise and he said it's not good. I haven't heard from him since around 10:00am.

Its looking really bad for butte county. I used to travel up to paradise when I went to chico state for shooting supplies (.22 ammo and gun powder was impossible to find). Crazy to think just how fast that fire is traveling. 8,000 yards a minute.
