OME 933 / 949 Coil Spring Install (Any Advice?)

Thank you all for the advice, I have made my list for additional parts. I decided that I might as well change out the original bump stops as I am missing one rear on and the rest are pretty dry rotted.

I am going to order Old Man Emu FKWTJ02 Track Bar Relocation Bracket.

I have one you can have, I’m not too far from you. It was installed for about 20 min before I decided on an adjustable tracbar to future proof a bit. It’s just missing the small bolt that goes on top (it may have just fell into my parts box).

Thanks for the offer, I do travel up to Englewood every so often for work. I did though change up my order through quadratec and ended up with a $58 total (decided to go with only replacing the one bump stop rubber, the other three actually aren’t that bad). I’ll take it off your hands if you find the missing small bolt, but if not I may just pass so I can score the free shipping haha

I didn’t see the bolt, since the bracket is pretty inexpensive probably worth just getting that free shipping.

Let me pull it out of the garage and I’ll post a pic, make sure it’s the correct one you need. I think they make 2, one angled and one straight. It’s the one that came with my kit.

I’ll be the one to say that those 949s are way too stiff for a swb TJ. I believe they are intended for an LJ that typically carries an extra 220 lbs.

Also: The relocation bracket raises the rear TB mount by 2”. You’ll need either a 2” bump stop extension or 1” + a 1” body lift. You’ll be better off with JKS OGS151.

Not only can that relocation bracket hit the tub, it can also cut the wiring for the fuel pump.
