Ordered disconnects today

Run the forklift out to the parking lot. Problem Solved. :)
But we have such nice lighting in the warehouse. Lol.
If I had a choice between buying jeep parts, and going on a jeep run, the jeep run would win hands down. Find a service dock behind most big box stores and flex out there.
Right!? The service dock thing sounds like a winner...

Well I called Jeff today at Rokman. He was very helpful. Took my order , went out to the warehouse brought them to the front desk, processed my order, sent me 2 conformation emails and they have shipped , this all before we got off the phone.
Now we will see.

I'm 34 years a swing shift worker. Got home at 1:00am, and the box was sitting on the table, along with some hardware (household) that I ordered very late Sunday night/Monday morning, and it arrived Tuesday afternoon. Talk about extreme differences in shipping!
If not too personal, Boeing?

Nope, though they are a customer of ours. It's a privately owned business. Not sure why I feel uncomfortable saying who it is, but for some strange reason, I just have a feeling I shouldn't. Sorry brother. That surprised even me... o_O

Nah it's cool, For a stint I lived in Everett, and my friends all worked at Boeing swings. I used to get off of work, and go to bed then set my alarm for midnight, and go party with them. Then I would wake up early go to work, and come straight home and do it again. It was a lot of wasted brain cells. We used to party at a bar on Broadway, and I forgot, called The Casbah. Good times!

Broadway has really gone downhill. I live just on the east side of I-5, just before the flats into Marysville. We now have a "sound wall" between my street and the highway. The mailman calls my area "Communist East Everett" because of the wall. LOL Yeah I've seen the area go downhill since heroin has become the drug of choice. The grocery stores that used to stay open 24 hrs. now shut down by midnight or 1:00am for safety reasons. I've been in the same house since '96. Saddens me to watch the decline. Have never seen the Casbah. Might be long gone...

It probably is, it was across the street from a grocery store(Johnnys?) and behind a Jack-in-the-box Just off of Broadway. For the life of me I cannot remember the cross street. It was the early 90's so probably just before you got there. It wasn't that great of an area back then haha. I worked at a shop just down the street in the same parking lot of a donut shop. I think it was called happy donuts. It is probably not there anymore. It was next to a small market. I kind of missed those days. There used to be some cool wheeling spots especially in Marysville just past the flats. I blew up my 400 in my Firebird racing across the flats one night. I haven't been to Everett/Marysville really since early 90's

The Jack in the Box is still there. Just north of it is a "Henry's Donuts" on the same side of the street. Ring any bells?

Yep there is an auto shop in the same parking lot as the donut shop, and that is where I really got my start. On the other side of the road, and down a couple of blocks we used to play football at the park. Usually at night and drunk. I would probably be a lot smarter now if I didn't ever live in Everett. Bringing back memories for sure, but too many dead brain cells to hone in. haha. Really I fixed cars my friends fixed airplanes, and I partied a lot.

Not sure if you are fisherman, but we would go across the flats, and just passed Marysville, and there was a bridge that crossed a river on the freeway. If you get off of that bridge before the river, and take the road left to the first or second right, and drove to the end of the road, there was some wheeling and camping back there on the river. We always caught fish, sometimes Salmon when they were running, but always trout. You had to drive next to a Cornfield to get there, so sometimes we checked to see if the corn was fresh hehe.

Thanks for taking me down memory lane. Some day I may go back up there, and look you up!

The auto repair shop just closed down last year. The owner finally retired, and sold the place. Hasn't reopened yet, and don't know if it will. Had a timing belt put on a Honda Civic there (don't judge me...lol). I know the area you're talking about where you fished. Yep...guess we have this area in common, eh?
Check this out, then we'll drop this conversation. I think we may have hijacked this thread!
