Ordered disconnects today

ill have to say, I somehow managed to turn a mole hill into a mountain as far as the install goes. i cut the mess out of my finger busted my knuckle open. had to open up the holes a little that you put the bottom pins in. Put one of the disco brackets on wrong and had to take it off and start over. But their on and ready to disconnect.

Basically what you're saying is you have to connect them so you can disconnect them. Sounds like a government job!

Alrighty then. Put my disconnects on today, before work. Took about 45 minutes. When I was dropping the old sway bar links, I discovered that the drivers side ball end wasn't actually still attached to the factory link. Who woulda known I was running around semi-disconnected for who knows how long. Jeep jewelry is on the SE now, so all is right in the world.

Couldn't see it, other than the rubber was shot, and shaking it didn't reveal the defect. I loosened the top nut, removed the bottom bolt and the thing just dropped off leaving the upper ball just sitting there. I thought to myself "My, that's unusal." Makes me want to pull the rest of the suspension and see what else falls apart. My guess is that it's time to go through the rest of it.

Don't know, but I bet so. Probably feels like a sports car now!

...and I've been truely connected ever since joining this forum. The SE, maybe not so much...

DON'T DO IT. Its a never ending pit of despair that will suck ALL of your disposable income into the great sucking void! Ignorance sometimes IS bliss!

I wish I could also be like Karnak the Magnificent...knowing to buy Jeep parts for things I didn't even know needed replacing. Then when I went to install them, not only are they easier to remove (because they're falling apart anyway), but I would feel so smart for buying something I really did need, after all!
