take that to 40's where does the Dana 60 really sit? marginal, satisfactory but probably not overkill?

My reference to overkill was based on rigs size and capabilities vs terrain. At what point is it no longer technical and challenging.
I don’t think a Dana 60 is silly for 35s if wheeled.

oh my............that's a great example of what you get when the rest is up to you. it's a good example of the limits of a "bolt on" skill level.
some ability to fab could have made it a much better outcome than the results we see here. and is what has left this project short of what it could have been.
