Rock sliders install question

Hello all. I got a pair of low profile rock sliders or body guards. I couldn't find an instal video or thread for these particular ones. So my main question is about drilling the holes for the part of the guards that wraps underneath the body. Im attaching some pictures of where the holes are underneath. It looks like I need to drill into that section that has a double wall and runs along the bottom of the jeep. I don't know what to call it. Maybe a support section for the body? It has like an inch of space on the inside. I wanted to know if I should just drill through both layers into the floor or maybe just put rivnut in the first layer. But im not sure if that would be strong enough for the purpose. Also the back two arms of the guards have a gap between the frame. (The front two touch right up to the frame). Should I put something between to make up that space? Thanks for any help. I just don't want to do it janky and have them get knocked off.

On my AtoZ sliders I drilled through the torque box and the floor. Savvy had me drill through just the torque box and install nutserts. I believe the nutserts to be the better way. I figure there has to be a limit to how much clamping you can get on the torque box without crushing the floor.

Both sliders I've installed had some flat bar welded to the inside face of the slider to fill in the gap with the torque box in the rear.

The original way those oem tj sliders were mounted was using nutserts, that’s what I’d go with

Put a jack with a 4x4 pressing up on the slider from underneath and clamps from the outside of the slider to the inside of the tub before drilling any holes. You want it firmly against the tub. Otherwise, any gaps and pressure applied will cause problems.

I got my sliders from Zac @ AtoZ also, but I wasn't a fan of drilling up through the torque boxes and floor. I used Nutserts instead.

Effectively none. Nutserts are the answer.

I remember doing that when I had "quality" Shittybilt Bidenchina sliders. I hear I have to wait 4 years for a refund though.

I'll be picking up some set of nutserts and tool for sure. Really appreciate the replies. I just replaced my rear track bar bracket (frame side) which needed to get done first so now that's out of the way I can get onto this project. Seems straight forward now thanks to you guys.
