Currently have a Savvy short arm 3" lift and have been contemplating upgrading it to their mid arm setup for from what I can tell based on all the reading I have done is better anti-squat and hill climb capability. However I believe I read a quote from a user who was told by @mrblaine that the gains with the mid arm at only 3" lift are some what negligible as the geometry isn't as bad as running 4"+. At the same time I have also seen Dave's threads regarding correcting geometry even on a sub 4" short arm lift so I am a bit confused on the optimal direction for those of us who do not intend to go above a 3" lift. Hoping some of the gurus here can help sort out whether it make sense to go mid arm if you don't plan to go above 3" and if not then is there any significant benefit to changing the short arm mounting locations for reduced anti squat on a 3" savvy short arm or comparable lift.

The first question you have to ask is are you having issues with the current geometry you have? No need to find a solution to a problem you do not have.

I'd stay right where you are. I was at 3" SL + 1.25" BL with 33's short arm and I can tell you after running a 4" Savvy +1.25" BL with 35's, that the smaller lift and tire setup was a very stable and wonderful build. I enjoyed driving it soo much. I may regret going to 35's. I'm not sure yet. I wouldn't be calling on a mida-arm with a 3" SL unless there's something particular that merits it.

I don’t think you can even get @mrblaine to mention Savvy mid-arm and Savvy 3” springs in the same sentence. 😆

^^ Solve problems you have, not ones you read about. Not everyone who goes a 4” lift gets vibes and needs front locking hubs , some do, for example.

As others have said, I doubt you’re needing to solve what a midarm solves on this setup.
