Don't know the exact reason but this is the winner in my eye. Could be color or just the smooth edges.

Well I posted it in the Ugly Bumper thread but as they say Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder I like the lines of my bumper. The only thing I'd like to change on it is to install weld thru recovery points. The mounts I have now have never bent or caused me issues.

The warn stubby has a nice profile to it for it being a bolt on steel bumper.

Cream of the crop (IMO) is the aluminum Savvy front bumper. I would go with the 1/4 inch aluminum if you really wanna beat on it.

Absolutely love this UCF bumper, if I was going to buy a bumper, this would be the one. If I ever decide to get a winch I would probably just get a winch plate and mount it on my stock bumper chopped off at the frame rails, but that's just because I'm cheap.

A lot of the comments on the other aluminum bumper also apply to the UCF.

Looks to be about 3 inches or so. @JMT could measure and snap a shot.

My RE bumper works great, especially for flat-towing. Special ends for the Blue-Ox, expensive, connects directly to the tabs on bumper. Did bend the tabs a bit, too tight of a turning radius at the time.

My stock set-up before I bought the Motobilts. I had gotten the stubby rubber end caps and was happy until I saw some of you's guy's stubby set-ups. I still have the end caps if anybody's interested?

color matching the winch line to the paint looks awesome, might have to think about that when I upgrade to synthetic later.

I've just got an old DirtWorx bumper that I carried over from my YJ. Took the Warn 8274 off last weekend for a rebuild & maybe sell.
Not terribly pretty, but solid construction. I gotta get my tow hooks back on top this weekend.
