I might be wrong but I’ve not seen any of the Holley Retrobrights which are RHD compatible i.e. dip in the right direction.

I'm not aware of a directional "dip" on any lamp. The lens and/or reflector may be designed to disperse light directionally. Based on the photos I've seen, the Retrobright lens and reflector look pretty neutral to me, as opposed to many off the shelf 7" H4's, where the lens is designed to direct light to a side.

The accepted pattern on dipped beam in the UK is for a flat line with a slight lift on the left, the last ones I brought were just a bit of a blur with no real pattern and the MOT centre said no. If it's a flat line it's fine.

If it was me I'd say screw you Keir Starmer and run whatever you want.

That one might not be his fault, I think it's just their MOT, basically our state inspection but it seems pretty strict. Those can vary greatly and some states don't really have much at all.

As for the screw Kier Starmer. Absolutely! And yes, we have pretty strict rules on some things.

Yup, with you on Keir Starmer. But I’m 99% confident that if the pattern is wrong it will fail the MOT - they are not keen on LED retrofits anyway (dazzling granny on her way home at night), so coupling this with a poor beam pattern will most likely fail.

THat’s better than the Trucklites (you can get those RHD) but still not really the OEM look. Depends what you like.

I'm actually looking for a modern light, that's the difficulty. I like the DRL. I have got one which I am trying to fit, whilst it says TJ, the fins on the back are not quite right. I'll try trimming and see how I go.

I’ve been very happy with them, good color and no flicker. However, no DLR if that’s what you’re looking for, the angle of the pic makes it look like it though.
