The BMB pads and Centric Rotors arrived. My pads were wearing unevenly. I need help knowing what was wrong.

Can you elaborate more for us on the uneven wear? Inside pads wearing more than outside? Top and bottom of pads wearing differently? Both?

Front wearing more than back and outside pad wearing more than inside. I can take pics later.

Seeing that I don’t really even know what to look for, no.

Here’s pics of the pads. Disregard the chipped pad. I did that during removal.

I would say your knuckle has a small divot in it where the pads ride, which is making the caliper use the outside pad more than the inside one.

What Mike said. Check the saddles to see if they wore divots in the slides.

I’ll have to look into this. It’s something I’ve never heard of, again.

This is post repair, but look around this area. I welded these up and filed them back down...TIG is the way to go here.

Yes. I realized I didn't specify, but figured you'd be smart enough to locate the weld beads and know what I was talking about.

Hmm…those locations looked perfect on mine. I cleaned them up and installed the little riders/clips (don’t know the name). When I take it apart I’ll check just to make sure.

Interesting, I don't think there are normally abutment clips on the front brakes. The rear discs, sure, but not the front.

Edit:. I just looked at your picture again... You showed the rear axle, are you working on the rear axle?

Sorry, yes, the rear axles. I noticed your front knuckle, but assumed you were just showing me the spots to look for divots.

My bad...I automatically assumed the front axle for some reason...mostly because I looked at the pads, and they looked like front pads. Anyway, things that cause the pad to wear unevenly...Usually its sticky slide pins. Could be worn or cracked piston. They (the rear) are phenolic...I've had one crack on me. Look for anything that will restrict the motion of the caliper. It needs to slide freely, so that it will apply even pressure to both pads.

Adams Rear Driveshaft is sent out. He wanted to take a look. Fed Ex charged $25 for Monday delivery. Said it could be as late as Thursday. I asked how much to guarantee it would be there on Monday. $67. WTH? I pay for Monday, but if I want it there Monday I have to pay almost 3x's as much? Someone is confused.

I ordered a welder. It took me all day to decide, and I've been thinking about it for a month. 20% off. I guess I am 'all in' now and will 'try' to step up to the big leagues.
