The cargo rack disappeared, too! It either needs to be redesigned from how I did it before a welder, or it needs to wait to comeback after the footwell gas tank is built.
In the interest of trying to do a decent job on the highline install, I added a second wire chase into the glovebox area.
This was to reduce packing the first chase too tightly and help improve the routing once the cleanup happens.
While I was in there, I also bolted in a ground stud by tapping the sheet metal, screwing in an 8-32 bolt from behind and securing it with a keps nut.

It doesn’t look fat. Now I need to weigh mine again.
Some time ago, the small light bars that are wired into the factory fog light switch quit working. I suspect the multifunction switch again. I have already replaced and rebuilt one many years ago and don't care to do it again. But I have room on the SwitchPros.
Now all my lights work again!
Adding these also meant rearranging the circuit and button order, which is why I have not put the labels on yet.

I went to a different scale. After removing the rack and padding, I can argue 4400lbs now without a driver!

You’re reminding me that I need to get mine on a scale before I start adding now that I’ve taken it mostly back to a good starting base….

I ran out of 3/8" loom and heat shrink connectors, which means it is quitting time.

And now I know what all my buttons are for!
New nicer special hood pins are now installed.
These ones are full stainless steel, including the lynch pins with big serrated flange nuts. Everything about them is nicer in fit and finish.
The grommets are bolted in place for the first time. I used more of the black stainless hardware I have been using on the fenders to help keep the shiny dots down to a minimum.
I spent more time on the pin lengths and positioning. And following Blaine's suggestion, I ground out the grommets where the pins rub on their way through. And I removed the spring and safety latch.
Now the hood will drop onto the pins and fully seat against the bumpers with little to no effort from me. And the lynch pins slide in with just enough resistance to keep the hood snug.
And now I can finally do one last finishing pass on the hood cut, likely with a flat file to remove no more than 1/32" and hopefully eliminate the one small scoop I accidentally made.

Always and forever! Highlines are time consuming.
Because if I don't do it now, it will never be done- a large part of today was spent shortening and cleaning out the ARB locker wiring harness.
Every round gets more wire wrapped up and put away.
Adding the second wire chase through the firewall helped a lot to keep things from getting too messy. One hole is for the SwitchPros and the fuse block where everything routes the same pathway and the other is for everything else that goes the opposite direction.

One of the final bits of wiring cleanup has turned into replacing the rock lights with these...
Maybe I missed it but I thought your goal was cleaning up the wiring? What’s the deal with the Home Depot nylon butt splices?
