You guys rock, thanks for helping out its greatly appreciated!
I like the ratchet strap idea, going to use that when I finalize placement. The video helped, but definitely had to mock both up first to get everything lined up. IMO, it was easier to mock the rockers and adjust the corner armor to get everything lined up just like klay’s video.See pic below for more context; I wrapped them from the cage to the to the bottom links so they would apply pressure at the corner and force it into the panels. I did the same for the corner armor, but with the straps going the other direction to make sure the corner was as tight as possible. I also used a shit ton of clamps, but painter’s tape would have definitely helped.

Yes sir.
The version tested by @Swiss-cheese TJ-6 (thanks again) mounts by cutting off the upper windshield hinge barrel and stacking the body side lower hinge barrel on top. The flack jackets that are cut around the hinges leave the hinge barrel being only supported by the sheet metal and it seems like that somewhat defeats the purpose, I wanted to support the hinges. Now that this has been test fit and proved possible I can make some more variations.
I am working on fenders and the corner rub rails right now so the half door skins for this kit are further down the line.
@Wildman "IF these work out do you have plans to offer the flares in different widths" Yes I will most likely offer two widths. We don't have fender coverage laws or they are not enforced if we do. From looking at the needs I would imagine a 4" and 6". TBD.
@Rickstar321 Thanks for the input, I do appreciate the feedback. The flare has to not flop around at 80 on the highway, this is easier said then done. The devil is in the details, nothing is as simple as it seems. I am not into that aesthetic. I am a function then form guy but the form has to be there or I wont use the function.
@tworley "I like the look of the standard 0 flare" Thanks, this is the version I will be running.
The fenders and and removable flares are intended for those with strict tire coverage laws. It is what it is. The idea is that they are easily removed for the trails. The flare is going to be made from 1/8 material. They need to be strong enough to keep their shape at 80 on the highways and withstand mud and snow being flung on to them. The flares are not designed to be smashed on rocks. Drive to the trail, zip them off and leave at camp or toss in the back, go have fun.
You cant damage what's not there. The Zero fender offers the most clearance. The Standard fender offers a little more coverage and will have the option to add the removable flare.
5” flares would be ideal for us tire coverage people (PA)
I am almost to the "ideal flare width" question lol.. The rear flares are easy, fronts are little more complex. I am 90 percent done with the fender base, as soon as I finish test fitting parts the flare width discussion will begin. I will not be making one off flares, sorry I just don't have the time. I will need to dial them into maybe 2 width versions. One would be better lol.
Th flares are for you folks in states where it matters. We don't have fender laws that are enforced in FL so I wont be running them. I avoid mud at all cost. The rare time it happens I just wash everything.
Agree. 5" if you just do 1.5” flares would be ideal for us tire coverage people (PA). I’m trailering to go wheel, so removable flares would be incredible.

8" MC flares here
wife gifted me the flux front bumper for Christmas and it's hands down the highest quality bumper I've had on any of my jeeps.
any possibility of making a bullbar in the future?
@The4bangertj brought up a good point. If you don't have "full" coverage and are not being ticketed what is the desire to have 8 inch flares based on? Do you wheel muddy trails often and just prefer more coverage? Just wondering.

plans to make it taller to clear the thimble
