Im really liking thinner wheels and tires. I love the thin tire of old school army jeeps. Anyone know if there are any positives with weight? I imagine there would be. These pics are on the forum somewhere. But I dig this look, height and stance...

My wheels are 7x15 with 31x10.50 15 tires. I'm guessing 7" wide wheels and 9.50" wide tires.

They look like 7 inch wide wheels either in 15 or 16 inch . The bias tire looks like a 7.00 x 15 or a 7.50 x 16 tire . I am currently running 6 x 16 inch wheels with 235/85r16 tires which are 31.7 inches tall and 9.25 inches wide . A 7 inch wide wheel would give you more options on tires .

Running 33x10.5R-15's on OEM 'Ravines' . . . . . they were second choice because the 32x11.5R-15 KM2's weren't available.
Am pleasantly surprised.

1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers, and Rubicon fender flares.

Do you need wheel spacers? Or are you running them just for visuals preference?

You don't need wheel spacers for the narrow tires. It can help the TJ ride on ruts left by wider vehicles, and can improve clearance of the lower control arms on tight turns. It is othwise just for looks. It has a negative effect on scrub radius.

Thanks for clarifying ! I currently run a 2.5" lift w/ 1.25 spidertrax spacers on OEM Ravine wheels but run 33x12.5s.. Want to step down to a 33x10.5. Not concerned with Offroad performance. I feel the 12.5s are too wide, heavy and just make the jeep not look the way I want.

33x10.5s are also getting limited in availability, so my likely choice will be BFG KO2s.

too cool. sits so bad ass. i dig the stance. im in the minority here but I think the size/width ratio to the overall size of the vehicle fits alot better. visually too. My buddy had a 04 sport TJ with super wide 33 on 16 inch wheels and I just couldnt get with the over all look and stance. Not to mention hearing and feeling the engine really work to move all that rubber. It was his daily driver and his gas bill was looney tunes. This combo looks so cool. when you get up to speed, does it “feel light on its feet” so to say? That was another thing about my buddy’s TJ, on the freeway at speed, it still felt like it was straining (or at least, working more than it needs to) to move the rubber.)

Thanks for the compliment, I like the old school look. As far as feeling light on it's feet, I have nothing to compare it to but it goes pretty good if I keep the OD off. LOL
