im just trying to figure out if i went the wrong way on any of my parts
i got the ome heavy load kit
it rides OK -I wont say great
running 31's
new stock control arms
new ball joints and tie rods
rough country adjustable track bars front and rear
no vibrations at all
just some road noise a little
rear sway bar bushings new and jks dissconnects (connected!)

Cant seem to figure out why it doesnt ride as good as my other 99 tj that is all stock and has old parts on it

What shocks are you running?

What air pressure are you running in your 31’s?

For any driving, having the shock travels divided 50/50 helps the shocks do their job.

...
My axles have a good bumpstop range just a half inch short of full flex

How much shock shaft is showing when the Jeep is sitting in the driveway? How much gap between the hard parts of the bump stops?

My LJ was pretty stiff over certain road conditions with the OME shocks. I recently put Rancho RS5000x shocks on and it smoothed those areas out a lot.

OME shocks are known for their harsh ride. If you were to swap in Rancho RS5000x’s the ride would improve according to more than a few members of this forum.

My Jeep as well as my son's and my friend all have the Rancho RS5000x’s. All three have a very pleasant ride. Lifting and swapping out stock components will change the ride characteristics. If you plan it right, usually for the better.
