[Midnight LJR]

Installed VisionX headlights with Hi & Lo adapter so I can run with both High & Lo Beams on together with there CG2 Multi LED driving Lights. I also picked up some amber fog light covers.

Currently I wired the Halo’s to the Parking lights. I think I am going to hook them up to a accessory so they always come on, for the increased visibility

I am excited to test them out tonight and see how much of an improvement they are.

nice work, if you leave them on the parking light circuit won’t they stay on when the lights are on Anyway? Or did I misread that?

I probably did not write it correctly.

Currently they are wired to the parking light circuit and stay on with the headlights.

I am undecided but was thinking about trying to figure out a way to wire them like a modern driving light.

So when I turn the key on without turning on the parking/ headlights they would come on.

No they don’t change, you can pick between.

black or chrome, with either white or orange halo.

LJ we tapped into the fuse box behind glove box. We did check fuses under the hood.

Most exciting day ever! Adjusted headlights and installed tire snubbers!

In other news I have got to use the headlights for a few days now and I am blown away by how good they are. Not sure how they really compare to the more affordable ones but these are amazing!

I know you guys love pictures so here are the tire snubbers!

What was much more exciting was my wife gave me a early birthday present, lots of TRE goodies. Now I just need to research how to install the thimble.

Just ordered K-Suspension's headlight harness kit in hopes of further improving my headlights efficiency. Hope to get it installed for the Xmas tree run next month. Nice bag of recovery goodies!

wow that Fid is a nice addition for splicing the thimble.

You can splice without it but it makes it easier. Splicing is a lot easier than most think. I use a Brummell lock splice because you don’t have to stitch it to lock it.

Yeah, splicing that thimble in is pretty easy. Watched a couple vids and had it in no time. Now, if it needs to come off, its no biggie. I ended up using a lock stitch vs a Brummel, though I don't really think either is necessary. Once that line is "Set", its NOT coming apart without working it.
