The 15" is more than enough for 35's. I can lock mine easily. Anymore braking power would appear to be useless to me. I'd imagine the 17" kit would be too much brake for 35's.

Blaine has stated that the 17" BBK is meant for 40s or larger (or maybe it was 38s or larger). Either way, it's a mistake to have that 17" BBK on 35s (I made that mistake on my last one).

From everything I've read, the 15" BBK should be just fine for 35s.

Blaine’s helper recommended the 16” for my 15’s, don’t think 15” is your only option.

I just put a 15" kit on mine. I'd tell you how it performs but I'm a month away from having it run again.

REQUIRED in WA and you'll get a ticket if you don't have them.
Chris, AZ also requires mudflaps for “any truck with a modified suspension or 1 ton axles”
-from what I’ve read...the law might not apply to Jeeps, but I know people that have been ticketed for a lifted Silverado without flaps
-might be a good idea to keep the mounts on there JUST in case and until you can get a firm answer from someone in touch with the law...

Flaps are the worst lol

I remember how the 16” performed, so similar I would imagine.
Is tire rating your primary reason for 15’s? I can’t decide what wheels I want to go with😰

Yep! I refuse to use a tire that isn't C rated. E rated tires ride like shit compared to C, I've experienced both and I'll never go back to E.

15" wheels have a massive selection of C rated tires, whereas 17s have only a few.

@Chris ,personal opinion, no BS. what do you think of these vision Manx simulated beadlocks for my jeep since you know already where I’m going with the build. Not trying to jack your thread

I'm not sure I like those that much. Not the worst I've seen but not my favorites honestly. I wish Method made a lot of their 16" and 17" size wheels in 15". Method makes some of my favorite wheels in terms of looks.

Yeah I like the 301’s and 305’s. I’m having a tough time finding some in 15” with a machine face that I like.

Yep, the 105 and the 305 are my favorite wheels, but of course they only make them in a 16" and 17", which stinks, because I'm set on 15s.

I also like the new serrated bead edge they are using. I don’t know how well it works but I like they are thinking about things. If they work and tire tech improvements keeps from having to use beadlocks for lighter duty, that’s awesome.

(still hate method!) 🤣
