A highline won't do me any good with my build the way it is.

Yeah, after looking at shipping costs, no way I'm shipping these things. GenRight is obviously building shipping into the costs, because even with my UPS negotiated rates, it's going to be well over $250 to have them shipped just purely based on size.

The good news is, people are willing to drive for them

Depends. That was one option, the other was pick it up, go have fun, bring it back when we have parts.

I seriously thought about it. Figured that there was no way it would last long enough to sell mine to fund the new purchase though. In a way, I was right...

Did you go with the PSC pump as well? On my 4.0 I found that I had to run the smaller pulley to keep the steering from lagging - but I also run a hydro boost, which was likely part of the reason for the lag.

Yep, I went with the PSC pump as well. Hopefully today I can get to installing the pump itself and the steering gear box. After that it will just be a matter of welding the new brackets for the ram assist and getting the hoses routed properly.

I am very much looking forward to it since my steering currently sucks in the rocks.

The ram assist bracket needs to be welded like so:

I won't be using that U-bolt clamp however, as I'll have to notch that area and weld it directly to the axle tube since the mid-arm truss is in the way. If you don't have a mid-arm, you'll use that u-bolt clamp, but you'll still want to weld the brackets.

@pc1p didn't weld his (he simply bolted it on), but I'm under the impression that welding it will give it a bit more strength?

The brackets in blaines kit are meant for a stock axle. The RJ44 stabilizer mount is angled a little different than stock so the bracket on the front had to be modified. The bracket for the tube wasnt going to work with the midarm truss so a tab was purchased and welded to the truss using a spacer and long bolt to tie it all together.

Interesting. The Ubolt won’t fit around my Currie 44 so I was planning on a little welding myself.
