Funny you should say that. I shaved my 14 bolt with a sawzall and grinder. Worked out perfectly but I did not machine the ring gear myself. I bought the gearing from ECGS.
Really and you were able to get the shaved diff cover matched up perfect?

No problem at all. It just takes time. I would guess that most shaved kits were done this way. You cut close with the sawzall then grind to the correct amount.
 
Well l gut a snag today....went to my buddys shop to work on jeep and all the power is out.....big storm last night l guess l take a day off

Yep there was a big storm over here last night too. Our power went out twice.

That track bar / drag link setup is going to result in some nasty bump steer. Can you mount the pitman arm heim under the pitman arm? That would get your drag link much closer to parallel with the track bar.
 
I am planning on moving drag to bottom of pitman l just didn't have a nut for my bolt so l put it above for mock up and l dont have my spacers for my joints so it will flatten out drag a lot
