Steering Stabilizer Connected to Steering Gear Box

Vehicle: 2006 TJ 4.0L L6

Scenario:
I am replacing the tie rod, tie rod ends, drag link, and steering damper on my 2006 TJ. This is a vehicle I purchased form somebody else, and I have no data on what equipment is currently equipped on it. However, the steering damper has 2 hoses running from it to the steering gear box. I cannot find anything about this no matter where I search. I have ordered a new kit to replace everything (different brand than the unknown brand I am sure), but I am pretty positive the steering damper in the kit does not require to be connected to the steering box. I have pictures attached. My biggest concern is having 2 holes in my steering box after I install the new steering damper.

Questions:
Has anyone seen this before?
Does anyone know a particular steering stabilizer that I could get that connects to the steering box?
Is there a way to "plug" the two holes that would be in the steering box after installation of the new steering damper?

That is a hydraulic assist steering system similar to this one:

You should be able to plug the holes, if needed, with the appropriate sized plug and sealant.

that is a hydraulic steering assist. it can be removed, those ports in the gear can be capped.

we don't have the toughest gear box so when big wheels are added hydro assist helps move them with less stress on the gearbox.

lookin at whats there you have other possible issues beyond the hydro assist. we try to avoid the things like that drop pitman arm and that ugly drop TB bracket.

it did have a drag link yes? not seeing any witness on that pitman.

Yeah it did. I have the tie rod and drag link currently removed.
