    Big Bear Birthday Snowstorm

Took a little birthday trip with my lady up in big bear California. She surprised me with a little cabin getaway nestled in the middle of nowhere, we were fortunate enough to be there during a huge snowstorm. We enjoyed the storm in the cabin, and the next day we went out for a snow wheeling...

Is Rock Hard 4x4 rear tire carrier / bumper still the overall recommendation?

Hey everyone, I'm about to pull the trigger on a new rear tire carrier /bumper to replace my redrock one. Reasons for replacing are it rattles all the time, I don't trust the welds, pivot from breaking, and I want to tow a small trailer and I also don't trust the integrated hitch receiver. I've...

Would anyone be willing to lend a Johnny Joint Tool/Press?

Hey Guys, Posting here to see if anyone would be willing to lend,or possibly sell me a Johnny Joint Tool for the 2" and 2.5" JJ. I know its a stretch, I'd just rather not shell out $300 for a tool, but I also would prefer not to go the threaded rod route. I've been a longtime member here and...

Been considering going back to 33" tires lately

Hey guys, Considering going back to running 33" tires instead of the 35's I'm running currently. Mainly because of the gearing I have currently 4.56 and the fact that I'm not hitting as many rock crawling trails as I used too and these days find myself more looking to just do nice scenic...

After 7 years of daily driving my TJ I finally got a 2nd car

Well guys, after a long time of only having my lifted, loud, slow, gas guzzlin TJ I finally scooped up a 2nd car. I always disliked doing daily commuting in my TJ because it was expensive and I was racking up miles on my relatively low-mileage TJ (89K currently). I want to keep this Jeep forever...

    Front driveshaft play

There is play at the front DS on my relatively new Adams shaft , all the bolts are torqued and the play doesn’t appear to be coming from the u joints but it’s rather the point where the shaft slides in and out. Diagnosing a clunk in the front end. I posted a video here of the play.

    Steering wheel slop/play after currectlync

Hey guys, have lots of free play in my steering ever since switching to my currectlync steering. Was previously running the ZJ set up and did not have the amount of slop I do now. It’s making it hard to get the steering wheel 100% straight and on the highway I feel like it’s wandering more than...

Replacing tube side steps with sliders

I’ve been putting off rock sliders for awhile because I felt my side steps would hold up for 1 impact at least . But lately I’m thinking I want some proper sliders . I don’t love the idea of body mounted where I’m drilling into the tub. I would prefer a frame mounted or body mounted that doesn’t...
