    First time off-roading today

Planning to do some light off-roading today. I feel under-prepared but do not plan to do anything remotely extreme. Will be at an off-roading park so expect to see other folks there. Any tips or things you wish you knew/thought of before you went out off-roading for the first time?

Florida List of Florida members who like to go off-road

I’ve seen these for a few other states and I know we have a few people on the forum living in Florida and they only thing that makes the little bit of off-roading we have more enjoyable is the people we do it with so I wanted to get a list going.

    First time off road

So I took my 2000 Jeep wrangler sport on her maiden off-roading voyage and it was super fun until she broke down. Luckily we called a mechanic friend and after two hours of checking different things we ended up resetting the computer by taking the terminal off the battery and that fixed the...

Does weight help in the snow?

I’m going up in the moutains today (Oregon,Timberline) and I removed the back seat so I could have more space. However, I noticed last night how sporty my 2.5L felt because of the reduced weight. Felt like the car was zippy-er and could accelerate more. Being that this is my first snow driving...

    Modern Jeeps and Offroad Capability?

Other than the Wrangler, do you guys think there are any modern Jeep models that have any sort of off-road capability? I see all these new Jeeps on the road and none of them seem to be anything more than family haulers.
