Colorado Stock Fender Flares and Springs

Hey guys. Selling my stock coil springs off my '03 since I've gone up to the OME kit. Asking $50 for the full set of springs, plus whatever shipping is. Local pickup is cool too.

    Educate me on shocks

Currently I have a 2” OME lift, and if I wanted to get 3” springs, the shocks would over extend, right? I also have a 1.25” body lift so I don’t want to go any higher with that. If I can’t use the OME shocks with taller springs, what’s a good combo of springs and shocks for a 3 or 3.5” lift?

    Stock suspension replacement

This seems to be unheard of in the jeep community, but I would like to retain the stock suspension height/setup. I believe after 320k and 17 years its on the list to replace. My question is, what brand would you recommend, and what model or sizes do i need to maintain the stock ride Thanks in...

Stock Spring Swap Walk-Thru with Pics

When I bought my 05 Sport, it had some deferred maintenance issues that the PO had ignored. One issue is that the ride was harsh and jittery, nothing like you'd expect from the relatively new RS9000X shocks the PO had installed. With some help from some really knowledgeable people on this...

Looking for input on lift kits - 2006 Rubicon

I have a 2006 Rubicon. I just upgraded to BFG 285/75/16 KO2 (kept the stock Moab rims cause I like em!!) but of course, now they rub on the frame rail when I turn hard . Want to put a suspension lift on but nothing too aggressive. My offroad is maybe 20% of use. Would love to soften up the...

    Sagging stock front springs?

I'm still getting to know my recently purchased 05 Sport, and at the risk of sounding like a total noob, I'm beginning to wonder if the stock front springs might be sagging. I read here that the stock front spring height is 12". I measure my front springs at 11" from the base to top of the...

For Sale: Savvy Adj. CA's, Currie Rear Track Bar, 4" Currie Springs

Hey everyone. I am planning to change up my Jeep's suspension and will be selling various components. I am looking to remove these from the Jeep in August and sell everything then so my rig won't be without legs for very long. All parts fit '97-'06 TJ's and are in great used condition. This is...

    Best 3" Springs?

1998 TJ Sport, 4.0L, 32RH, 2.5 sus. lift, 33" tires. I want to replace my RC 2.5 springs with quality 3” springs. (The RC 2.5 springs actually gave me closer to 3” of clearance). I want the best, something that will not sag, but I don’t think Currie or OME make a 3” spring. Savvy does sell a...

What's wrong with my front suspension?

While working on Ole Yeller today ( I'll post the details of what we did on the build thread here: https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/2000-tj-ol-yeller.1791/ ), we noticed that Yeller was leaning slightly to the right. We hauled it up on the lift and looked around. What I'm looking for from...

    Rear Springs

So in preparing the Tj for my trailer build and eliminate a slight sag in the a$$ end, I am looking for some rear springs. I have a 2.5'' lift currently. I will be towing about 800lbs when its all said and done. Any suggestions on springs? It's also heavily armored, is there a place I can look...

    Rancho spring question

Hi all, I've been lurking in the shadows here for the past few weeks, and trying to take stock in the quality of parts that are installed on my TJ that I picked up last August. To start out with, I bought a 04 5 spd Manual 4.0l Sport with 64k on the clock that looks to have a Rancho 3.5...

    Removing front springs

Last time I removed the springs I used spring compressors. This time I am installing my Currie 4" lift and decided I'd rather avoid spring compressors and just get the springs out by lowering the axle. Well, it seems that even with everything disconnected the only way to get the axle to drop...

What are bumpstops and what do they do?

Clank! ... if that sound is coming from your suspension, that's not a good thing. If you just bottomed your springs and heard that metallic clank, it probably means you banged metal on metal and are at risk of bending or breaking some part of your suspension. And that means you probably need a...
