Getting ready for wheelin trips that are farther away. I’ve been planning to put the spare in the tub, but in a way that saves some space and that allows me to keep my powered subwoofer while allowing me to swap the rear seat in and out without changing the location of the powered sub.
Obviously the sub had to come off the bottom of the rear seat. This has been a good solution for me for over 5 years, but you can’t remove the rear seat and keep the sub in the Jeep, so it was time to sort it out.
If you really want to keep the back seat, you can stand the tire up at the back against the tub next to the tailgate. Remove the ‘back’ of the seat and only use the butt cushion part. It’s a tight fit but it’ll work, probably wouldn’t want to sit back there a lot time but short trips.
