Late nights, early mornings, you do what you gotta do. The old nerf bars are finally gone. One last pic...bye

Obviously rock sliders were needed. This morning I mounted the sliders on the backplates. Used the jack to make sure they were fully seated on the tub before drilling the four 7/16” holes/side.

Plates are included in the floors for support.

Added the inner support which attaches to the front two seat bolts.

These are solid. I might prefer some black stainless bolts, but these might tie in well with the wheels. Not sure yet.

I think the chrome bolts tie in nicely with your wheels.
If you had black wheels I would say go with black bolt heads.
However either one works well with your RED BEAST. You will know after a week or two which you prefer, imo

Waiting for my tire guy to find a used 33. I may give in and buy a new one. Rotation is due in another 2500miles, so I’ll just drop $200 then if I have to. Good eye!

a little torn on the next mod, I may suck it up and do both...but one is a hidden surprise.

Yep, it runs when I charge it, for about a day and a half. I’ve got some dye I ran through it in March and I couldn’t find it. I’m going to try again since it was apparently gushing during my last wheeling trip, according to one of my sons.

Common places for leaks are the Schrader valves (2) and where the hoses connect together but you must use 2 wrenches to snug them up.
I can post a pic tomorrow if the above is vague

I'm surprised the dye didn't reveal a leak, especially since it leaks out within a couple days, that's pretty fast.
I would.check the 2 valves, seen here under the red and blue caps.unscrew the caps and make sure the valve stems are snug, like you would on a bicycle inner tube valve stem.

Pls disregard.my comment about snugging up connections, I was thinking GM vehicles for some reason, that doesn't apply here.

Jeremy you might also just do a cursory check of the bolts on the compressor if you haven't already, just to make sure none of them have loosened up, just make sure they are all snug

Thanks Keith. I can definitely get these checks in. I wondered about the upper and lower valves, but did not know they were basically like a bike valve stem. I hope that is it! That would be easy
