Anyone running air bumps inside coils on rear?

Currie bumps are a whole different game than extending the factory bumps. They are jounces. There is no clear hard limit to set them to before the shocks reach full collapse.

Are the aluminum spacers that come with the currie kit the only adjustment? IE: you can have 0-1.5" of additional bump over just the poly bumpers? Is that typically enough adjustment or is it likely that one will need washers or additional spacers to dial it in? (Front kit)

Also, how much shock shaft should be showing when the bumps first make contact at full bump?

Their instructions are pretty vague.

Sorry for getting off topic, I was looking at the front bump stop kit but the instructions for the rear are equally vague.

Is there any adjustment included with the rear kit?

Also, the drawing seems to contradict the instructions for the rear...

I called and asked Currie this question (Blaine answers below also) here is their reply:
"OK, so John Currie has gotten back to me on this.

He said that we do not have the completely collapsed dimension. He said the spring company probably has this dimension, but it’s not something we require for our purposes, so we have not documented it.

He said we check free height on our end and we have a spring compressor here that we check loaded height on. He said he designed our bump stops to never allow the spring to get to a compressed height that would allow damage to the spring.

Our bump stops are designed to stop the tire before it gets into the wheel wells (hits them), and to prevent the spring from distorting by collapsing too far."

Basically, install the bumpstops with the springs and dont mess with them. As far as where to position the shocks, I like Blaine's advice below ~1". The Currie LJ springs is a 5/8" wire OD and has about 8 wraps. Given Currie's statement above and that measurement setting the shock to full bump at 5.5" would be a max compression, anything more would be wasted downtravel (ie unused uptravel). When I just installed these I made bump contact at about 6.2" of spring space and had 1" shock travel left. Seems to be a good place to start and then modify based on driving, but i haven't tested wheeling yet.
