Arizona Wheelin

I'm not sure, but a lot of the reviews are saying a rancher lives there now and there is a gate.

If you get a chance to check it out before I get there, let me know. I was really looking forward to that one.

Are there any others around that area?

Man, I don't know, but I think you just moving to Arizona is going to be going down the highway to hell. It is supposed to be 107 on Thursday! Grrr

Time to put the top back on for the summer.

"I'm getting too old for this shit!"

Well, I'll probably have to wait for fall to really do any good wheeling, but I need to get some spots on my radar, and this was one of them

Yeah you'll want to come down, and get settled in first for sure. Don't get discouraged by the summer. It sucks for sure, but the winters are super nice. It makes it all worth it. The weirdest thing is when everybody here starts posting "Took my top off today!" and you think damn I just put my top back on! It's kind of backwards here.

Then you get your revenge because when people start posting "I put my top on for the winter!" You will be happy to post "I just took my top off for winter!" Except for @jjvw he takes his top of in the winter in CO, he is crazy. There is always one exception.

Remember, I lived in Arizona from 2008-2012, I know how the weather goes. I don't mind the hot, I just don't think I'd want to be out wheeling in it (not that hot at least).

Everything is indeed backwards there, it's pretty cool! I remember Arizona very, very well, and I'll be happier than anything to be back once and for all!

Don’t worry there are so many other trails around here it’s ridiculous. Let me know when you’re ready to go out and I’ll take you on some of my favorites

Sounds good to me. Looking at the maps, it appears that just east of the east valley, there is indeed lots of trails.

Yep. You’ve got a million in your backyard in Florence and the then a little North you’ve got tons on highway 87 too which isn’t too far from you. Some of my favorites on 87 are rocker panel pass and log corral trail. One of my favorites in Florence is Elvis trail

I'll check all these out on the AllTrail app. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for posting the wheelin videos. You guys are killing it on those trails! I’m impressed.

Finally got out wheelin after a long couple weeks of working on the Jeep. Yesterday we did Hackberry Creek Loop in Superior. This is a beautiful trail with all kinds of different obstacles and scenery.
Here’s some videos I put together

And here’s some pics!

Looks like fun! I’ve got that one saved on my AllTrails app as one of the places to check out.

Very cool, and looks like lots of fun!

We'll be moving to Arizona (Florence) next month, at which point I definitely look forward to checking out some of these spots.

I prefer Florence, Oregon. :)

My rails still have scars from this trail. I ran it after a washout four or so years back with the intention of exploring some mines. Turned back before the later part of the loop due to trail damage and it was getting late.

Which trail? Hackberry?

@starkey480 , what are you aired down too in that video? What tires are you running? Nice trail

BFG KO2s 33X12.5 aired down to 11PSI. I’m thinking there’s not enough deformation of tire going on over obstacles so I will be trying out 8 PSI next trip.
My thoughts too. It may be the KO2, don’t really know. It’s a Load C. KM3 next time?
