I didn't like how far my doors opened, so I replaced the factory door straps with small leather dog collars. Now I can adjust the doors to my liking.
I have put the factory straps on the dog collars as a retainer and so I wouldn't lose them.

I did the interior paint of mine. It needs a refresh now but the pics are from when I first did it. I also hit the black parts with fresh paint and the black handle pulls with fresh fabric paint.

I made some paracord zipper pulls since mine were gone or not long enough, also wrapped the door handles and grab bar. Also painted the interior black with green center and accents.

I since the previous owner decided to discard the third brake light and all the brackets with it, I'm in the process of putting it back together. After sourcing the bracket on Amazon I had to replace the door contacts. It would have been another 20 bucks so instead I went to lowes, got a couple small carriage bolts, nuts an rubber grommets. After a little adjusting the connection is good. And it only cost about 7 bucks.

I put in 2 Cree LED light bubs in the under-hood light fixture, the bulbs have a wire loop on each end. Two fit back to back for double the light and more after I painted the inside of the black fixture white. $3 on Amazon. I also put #194 LED light bulbs in the overhead and floor lights, got them from Banggood.com @ $4;
they are remote controlled and have 16 different colors and 4 special effects. Wife was not impressed.

Why did you cut those? I still don’t understand?

Where I travel, skinny is better. My TJ is now 5" narrower than with the 17x8 rims.

real-estate is scarce in a TJ and i don't smoke so made good use out of my ashtray.
