Mine had the self tapping screws as well but it would rattle like all get up because the screws did not hold it down very well. Remove the consoled and used a couple of number 8 screws, washers and nuts and now it is solid. Love the phone holder on mine.

Where did you get the dash lights? Were they a pain? I see a bunch on Amazon but they get spotty reviews for the ones I've looked at.

Got mine from Super Bright LEDs - they look great!

Yes they do, but you may need to get the proper 'red' ones like I did.My tail lights are very bright now....simple plug in like the old style bulbs

I know this is forever old butttt.....do you recall which ones you used for brake lights? Are you sure you got red ones?? Typically the bulbs are just white and the lens is what gives it its color. Does it make them super red or something??

Yes they are super red...but I tried the white bulbs and they were so bright that the red plastic looked pale and almost pink colour lol

I have motorcycle led license plate bolts I wired in to the running lights. Works great.

I was going to use the Plate Bolt lights - BUT found an old Boat License Plate (after market light assembly) in my Garage and used it instead. Not at all displeased but since I had it laying around it works for me. Hope you can make it out in the attached Pics. The Replacement LED bulbs work great after upgrade of flasher.

I found a You Tube article that illustrated the difference. He tested and found there was a difference between the two bulbs.. I sorry but I do not remember which ones I used (and I really don't want to take the lens off my lights).. but I am sure you can find the info on You Tube.. I went with the one he recommended and I am very pleased. I also use the "Euro Type" replacement Lens-they were on sale or a close out or something - as I remember they were less than the flat replacement led lamp $20.each; aforementioned, The lens I used seems much brighter that the sock.
