Chris' Modern Bluegrass Thread

Not a big bluegrass fan personally but check out Steep Canyon Rangers...very cool band. Steve Martin (yeah, the same) plays w/ them locally, he just randomly shows up at a local show (he lives here).
Also, another local fav is Alison Krouse...I did get to hang and camp w/ the band, cool dudes.

Texas outlaw radio is absolutely the best, if you're on Spotify, search Gruene Hall, most of these dudes got their start there...oldest dance hall in Texas and still in business.
JT Van Zant was a good friend of mine when I lived down there.

Good selection

Big fan of Blue Grass, Folk, and story songs.

I'm liking Sideline the most of those, I'll add them to my playlist on Amazon

Prolly worth noting Sturgill Simpson released a bluegrass album of original songs which is pretty good, although I loved the brass usage on his original album.

Another good one:

Halley's comet doesn't come back around until 2061 😲

Maybe I've been in Atlanta too long, but If you're in the mood for something a little different, check out Gangstagrass. If you ever watched 'Justified' they did the theme.

The Justified theme (and show in general) was fantastic. I’ll check them out.

This probably my favorite version of working on a building that I have heard.
