One thing all us Wrangler owners have in common is the frequency we visit the gas pumps. This thread is not about how much fuel your Jeep guzzles but how much your gas actually costs.

For members outside of the US, please convert litres to US gallons and then convert your per litre cost into $US. Also let us know what octane rating you're buying. Even the members who live across the US and Canada may be surprised by the variations in pump prices. Let's see who the unfortunate bastard is who really pays the most.

Please respond with country or state, octane rating and price per US gallon in $US.

My gas is usually $1.99 - $2.19 per gallon in Wyoming. I get the lowest they have so 85 or 87 octane or something around that.

In NJ the average is about $1.79 a gallon right now. Six weeks ago the prices were hovering between 1.39 and 1.59.

1.989 for 87 octane (which is the lowest octane in Wisconsin). For those outside the USA 85 octane is normally only permitted in the US for higher elevations where less air is taken in and actual compression is less.

That's a tricky question for my neck of the woods. Dollar value of a gallon of gas in Mexico depends on the exchange rate between the Dollar and the Peso. Presently the Dollar is strong and the exchange rate is 17.5 Pesos to the Dollar. I use 87 octane Ethanol free fuel. Dollar cost is $3.32. Here's the rub. The Mexican government holds a monopoly on Pemex gas stations. You can't buy fuel anywhere else. In the 14 years I have lived here regular has risen from 9.5 pesos per liter to it's present rate of 15.5. Supply and demand doesn't mean squat here. Prices keep creeping up and they never go down.

It's currently $2.24 a gallon for 85 octane here near aspen colorado, in Aspen it's probably about $4 or so a gallon.

The biggest benefit of living two blocks from work, I can usually get a week or two out of a tank of gas. I'm going to miss it when I move.

Ouch! If I had to pay that here I wouldn't be driving a jeep as a dd. I would have a scooter and driving the jeep would be a special event. What's min wage where you live if you don't mind me asking? Gas prices are ridiculous.

i think min wage is around £6.70 per hour and probably due to increase, not sure if you can make straight comparisons like that as we pay different types of income taxes; but to be honest i doubt somebody on min wage would be driving a 4L TJ. The parking permit where I live costs just under £300 every year sent to local council and plus Vehicle(road) Tax which costs just over £300 per year (or £500 for 4L wranglers built after 2001) because of the engines size and co2 levels. Then car insurance which varies but is around £700 for me as i have not been driving for a long time and live in a high risk area. So that's £1,300 just to keep your jeep on the road before you even consider weekly fuel costs.

We were in Arizona last week and it was running about 2.13-2.20. We are in SoCal now and I am seeing (paying) 2.73 -3.10.
Motor home gets 7mph and has 80 gal tank. Only putting bare minimum in until we get back to AZ.

Crap! That's like 82.32 for regular! Tempting but I'll still stay in USA.
