I bag the air intake, battery, alternator, fuse box, and the PCM/ECU, clean it out with a low pressure pressure washer, spray Simple Green on any oil/grease, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then hit it again with the pressure washer, remove the bags and let it dry for about an hour. Start it up, drive around the block, then garage it. Will do the same with the under carriage then hit all the grease points the next day. Do this a few times a year, unless I get into mud...then the same day or the next day.
