Nevermind...I now see that is just the price for the threaded rod.
They work would as rear adjustable sway bar links, although my new extended ones work quite well. If I had extended heims laying arounf though..
Did a thing today, gotta regroup with the members of AO to ensure we are still on for friday, snow in the forcast.
What is that dealio clamped to your frame?
Gobi roof rack frame tie in. The only way to properly support 800lbs without drilling I’m guessing. I made a shopping list post selling the rack, so hopefully I can find a proper buyer in a little bit.
I see you spruced up the tow hook. Looks good, nice install.
Yep, see you sorted out the tow hook dealio.
Can't look at those photos without drooling over that aluminum GT skid...
Trust me, more aluminum is gonna be coming my way once I sell some stuff .
Snow in the forcast and AO is pulling the plug on the trip. Bummer. Still waiting on the shorter links and the fox shocks so hoping to do shocks/bumpstops next week. Going to go on a local ride on saturday to just get outdoors .
Ride set for saturday locally. Its been raining so much I’m expected quite a lengthy cleanup.
It's good to get out on occasion, rain or shine.
No shocks yet but at least I can finally get stuck and not be worried about my cheapo previous tree strap breaking anymore. This thing is massive.
Also accidental cat photobomb.
nice kitty...."is that for me?"
For sure if he gets his claws on it he would love it.
Cats love empty boxes and bags.
Hit the trail today, a couple action shots of the highlights:
My peer ended up getting sucked into a hole and required a bit of winching
Found a pretty neat creek bed and took some photos, stinks I didn’t have that much travel. Quite stoked for new shocks.
Both rigs flexing up
I love his LJ, I swear 37’s make my 33’s look like stock tires
James and the Sahara build thread
Even though its a rutted out hillbilly fire road I had quite a bit of fun just driving around. Hopefully I’ll be able to get this rig out on some other trails soon.
I have someone very interested in purchasing the rack, although I wouldn’t get as much as I originally wanted. I may end up taking the lower amount so i could move forward and get the other equipment I want .
Looks fun but, yuck, mud clean up. What is your bud running for lift and tires? The tires look huge.
All Terrain Nitto 37s on AEV 17s. IIRC they were ridge grapplers.
I've heard good things about the Ridge Grapplers. Looks like you had fun. Not so much fun cleaning up all the slop. Thanks for sharing the photos.
