Got some new data: this is a 4" lift equivalent, and on 40" tires the belly hangs down to 20" all the way across (1-3/4" lower than the lowest point of the Savvy skid).

Without reading back through 4 pages, can you put this in context? Is this good or bad? What are we comparing it to (or are we)?
So you're saying the Tracer suspension is better because it has more clearance, right?Well if you want a wild azz comparison, my YJ on 33’s has 19” of clearance at the ucf ultra high clearance skid.
The listing seems to imply that the price does include built axles, wheels, tires, coilovers, etc. It's not just a frame. So I can start to see how it adds up.I think it is listed for the same on MoneyPitClassifieds. Pretty steep considering you still need an LJ and an entire drivetrain. Pretty crazy money for what you could build with the at least $70k it would take to get it together.
if im not mistaken, spending all that money just to have stock uptravel numbers and have 0.5" higher belly clearance than your average 4" short arm on 35s without a TTWithout reading back through 4 pages, can you put this in context? Is this good or bad? What are we comparing it to (or are we)?
The didn’t even use real johnny joints, which would have actually been a good part of the build.I wonder if they use Afco coil overs from speedway, you know, the $99 ones... just having fun here...
Just to clarify, we are comparing a LJ on 4 inch springs to an LJ on coilovers and comparing up travel numbers and belly heights, correct?if im not mistaken, spending all that money just to have stock uptravel numbers and have 0.5" higher belly clearance than your average 4" short arm on 35s without a TT
I just can’t help myself, that is like saying that smoking a pack a day is money well spent...To each their own. At the end of the day though it doesnt matter how much $$$ or what you do with it... if you enjoy it and are having fun, then its money well spent IMO.
I mean, you are right, but that is why I said to each their own... in someone's eyes, it is money well spent, and if they are happy with it then that's fine. Who are we to say about others peoples builds if we don't like it? Not everyone likes the same thing and thats okI just can’t help myself, that is like saying that smoking a pack a day is money well spent...
I believe so, I used 35s as the comparison,Just to clarify, we are comparing a LJ on 4 inch springs to an LJ on coilovers and comparing up travel numbers and belly heights, correct?
