California NorCal Jeep adventures!

@bobthetj03 Once we leave KMART, how long does it typically take to get to Ukiah? 3 hrs? 4hrs?
It's only about 15 miles from the Lakeport side to the Ukiah side. It depends how long we want to spend on the trails in between, but if you wanted to bug out early, it's not far if you stay on the main trail into Ukiah and SR101.

Fun day. Thanks for showing us around @bobthetj03

Yes, thanks @bobthetj03 for organizing…
This is a quality mobile unit, and has a small footprint for a GMRS radio.

My first radio was this Midland,

And you saw my current radio and its home.

Me and my buddy have been thinking about going out to sourgrass for a night run
If you're spending the night I'd look into slick rock or deer valley. Sourgrass is a really short trail. From what I recall deer valley wasn't that much more difficult than sourgrass and had some good camping areas. I'm not sure about your experience, but Slick rock is a bit more challenging but mainly just the last hill which has plenty of winch points if needed. Slick rock also has a nice area to camp along a river while sour grass is more of a mosquito-rich bog towards the end.
