If it was dry you'd of walked up that thing. The only issue was not enough skinny peddle for that first ledge. Also, the mud made the A/T's work like racing slicks.I'm so embarrassed, but my lockers were ON JIM !!!!!
Maybe I wasn't aired down enough.....
There is a little hill very similar to this at Carnegie, I couldn't get any traction with my muddy tires. Felt like I should have been able to go right up if it was dry.If it was dry you'd of walked up that thing. The only issue was not enough skinny peddle for that first ledge. Sounds like its time for savvy tank skidSo with the rain and the giant dent I put in my gas tank skid at Carnegie, I will be pushing my Hollister trip back a little. There's still time to join!!
Man... I just dropped about $1k into the Jeep last 2 weeks for the Tummy Tuck, another $500 for the tank maybe this check from the government will come in handySounds like its time for savvy tank skid
What's left of it... its pretty badly rusted and now beat to hell. I was thinking about just taking a BFH to it and reinforcing it for the short term while I figure out which Peter to rob...Are you still on your factory tank skid?
That has definitely seen better days.
My 01 had that skid prior to the savvy. I wonder if one of the previous owners upgraded it...If $$ is tight, get a 03+ skid from a wrecking yard. They are way more beefy, just to get you by.
Mine after two trips thru the Con.

I would have offered it if it was around.Where is your old one? Lol.
If I find one for a really good deal I may go for it, otherwise I will just salvage what I have for now and save for the right one.
I figured, I was just giving you a hard time.I would have offered it if it was around.
Paul in Layfette typically has one or two in his parts pile. Says $40 on his ad.
