You can reserve on line and roll in the dark anytime before 10pm I believe

Smoke is a bit better in my area. Would have to ask @Thunderhead for a more accurate observation since he lives in that area. I'll bring the N95 masks, k

Smoke isn’t bad. It’s blowing south west.
I’d be tent camping also. After numerous camp outs at Black Butte the wife and I have decided never to camp there again!

Other than the smoke, I don't think you'd get better weather than what we will get this weekend with low 70's and a nice brisk morning. I'll brew coffee for you tent campers, lol!
@tomtaylz , if you want to just camp Saturday night, just bring your gear and if conditions don't look appealing, you could just head home.
@Thunderhead , let me know if you decide to camp. I won't be rolling in till 8PMish Friday night.

Good way to go into the Mendocino National Forest. That's the way I hauled my horses in when we took them in to ride in areas of the National Forest (Snow Mountain Wilderness area and other places). Have fun....we'll need pictures.
