It will be a 3.5 hour drive for me so a camping trip doesn't seem unreasonable.

Yeah, I hear ya. I’m same as @Thunderhead, about 3.5 hours one way. A little too far for a day trip. Would have to camp.

Put me as a maybe for now. My Jeep is making noise on the front driver's side. Could be a hub, ujoint or ball joint. Still have to figure it out and take care of it.

If it turns out to be the hubs I have a spare set with roughly 10k miles on them that you could swap in. I replaced them unnecessarily.

I can be there by 9. If we left the trailhead by 10 though it would line up nicely with lunch if the trail is 1.5 ish hours one way.

We can meet at the day use area at 10:00am get aired down etc then we can head out. Will work good we can hang out for a nice long lunch before turning back.
