That is crazy. I can't believe my eyes. Is that frame rusted completely through? Was this not visible before he left on the trip? All of a sudden I feel the urge to crawl under my Jeep and really look over my frame. I've never seen anything like this before.

Those holes were not there. I pushed my fingers up through the frame.
That is scary, the rest of your frame doesn't look that much different than mine. Makes me wonder how thin my frame might be too. Thanks for posting.
Is that one yours in SoCal or someone in your trail group? That damage is pretty awful to find!

Its @LJMolina 's Jeep. Discovered it after Fins and Things on Monday. Its on both sides too. The weld shop set him up so he can get home, but he said its a total loss.
Planning to join you all tomorrow if its still OK.

They said if I took it to a body shop, they would total it out.... but yes, its just the frame only.
