Lately I’ve been getting all the snow I want just getting out to the highway from the house!

But that’s not playing, that’s grocery shopping!

I do want to do a fun snow run though, so I’m still following......

Up in Sparks right now, shopping for a new house. Probably end up in Fernley.

Right now 580’s closed from Reno to Carson City due to high winds. Some places at 60+ mph!

Coming back to Sparks from Fernley this morning, it was blowing my Dodge diesel all over the place. It ought to be a blast getting back to Alturas tomorrow morning!

That’s funny. We are looking at relocating outside of Reno maybe sometime around late summer. Depends on a job opportunity that may be coming.

FYI, what I’ve found, Fernley seems to have better home prices than Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Minden, and Gardnerville.

Lots of new houses in smaller developments. And enough shopping in the area for most of what you might need. And if not, you’re only 40 minutes from the biggest shopping mall in the Reno/Sparks area.

For jobs, Amazon has a huge facility here, but the big job attraction is Tesla. There are people coming from all over the country to work there.

A friend of mine bought a house on 5 acres in Stagecoach.

Trip home was easy. And I was surprised that it had rained and melted most of the snow.

I hope that’s not the way this whole winter goes.

Now it’s a soupy mud everywhere!

Is the trany line hard plastic or rubber. If rubber, just get a chunk of power steering hose, 3/8" I think and some hose clamps.

The line is rubber, it’s supposed to be a quick disconnect ( middle 2 photos)
but I had to light it on fire and send it to hell to uncouple it

Are you looking for something like this? If so looks like your best bet is probably going to the parts store and buying a few sizes.

I searched "42rle transmission cooler line retaining clip" to find that by the way.

Did you check carparts.com? When I replaced the radiator on the 91 XJ I think it came with the radiator, but it’s possible I just re-used the old one.

EDIT: I keep looking and I don’t remember that clip. I will go take a look and see if the one on my daughters is new looking or old. I’ll report back!

That motorhome of yours is huge!! I was behind you today when you were towing your Jeep from Hwy 29 and 175 (Holland), then passed you when you pulled over in the right hand lane at Highland Springs. I honked at you but you looked pretty serious.
