Zero issues, installed exactly as sealed beam. 100% plug and playOkay, @CodaMan, @Jerry Bransford, and @cliffish, did you guys have that issue when installing yours? My Truck Lites aren't like this, so hopefully one of you guys can chime in and let us know how you addressed this issue. Please!

Sorry for the delayed response. Mine were a direct replacement, not issues at all.
The application on the specs page states they fit cj and jk models. Being required to have and use a grinder is a joke
Bit the bullet and bought the JW Speaker 8700 Evo J2's. I had these on my JK and thought they were incredible, so I'm expecting them to be equally great on this rig. Now if I could only find replacements for the retaining ring screws I lost at the local hardware store......
Wow, I’ll say so! My ACE has just about every piece of hardware one could ever want. Two hardware stores and Napa (and the jeep dealer) and no luck...must be a bad week for small screws.
Thanks for all the good info here. I just purchased and installed the recommended cheaper “Amazon Lights” on my ‘97 TJ. No issues with fitment and I agree that the lights are better than stock, especially the high beam. Good match to the TJ front end. I’ve now got 100% led lighting on this old Jeep
I found the headlights cheaper than Amazon on eBay http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5337789113&icep_item=262208229912
Any idea how these compare to upgraded H4 headlights?
I did Cibies with Phillips X-treme Vision 60/55 bulbs last summer. The improvement over factory were great but I’m still not 100% happy especially compared to the lights in our DDs.
