It’s a piece of art. What rock rails did you install? Savvy? It’s interesting the paint scheme. I had already decided to do the same scheme come May. I really favor keeping the OEM paint color up teh sidewall, then a textured black or dark gray, or perhaps satin silver on my flame red. What you’re doing looks great! Some great work all around.

It would be a bit odd for me to put anything but Savvy Rock Rails on this one since I am the one that designed them.

It is a Rubicon. The hood and side decals are at the dealer and I'll get them picked up and installed this morning. Once the Rubicon tags are on, the Rubicon Moab Rims make sense and belong. Not that it matters since the rim selection is his choice, not yours or mine.

I agree with you on that. I’m one of the few that has never cared for black rims personally.

I have a set of Rubi Moabs I had powder coated black that I put on Kat's and they look good. I'll see if I can remember to get some pictures.

I’d like to see. I think it depends on the body color. But in this case, those satin Moab’s go excellent with red.

They also go fairly well with Impact Orange.

The front is the Savvy Aluminum bumper with fairlead mount that I designed. It has the corners on it and we redrilled it and the mount to slide the Warn winch back about a 1/2" so it would clear the winch hoop. It weighs less than a stock front bumper with hardware.

I designed the front bumper, rear bumper, rock rails, Under Armor, steering, Super 16" big brake kit, shock outboarding, and the kit part of the suspension on this one. The suspension in custom form was already on the Savvy race rigs, we just turned it into a kit.

All the trims are black, that is why I chose to see it black.
There is no single trim that I saw that is chrome plated, or maybe I missed it.

That is why this is all so much fun. We all like different things and how stuff goes with other things according to our own personal preferences and value systems.

And l also love the sleeper look no matter if it is a race car or Jeep! (But you are still going to stand out).

I’ve never been a fan of all black wheels on flame red, impact orange, patriot blue or the darker blue, hunter green or black TJs. I think they look exceptional on white and yellow TJ’s. Of course, everyone has their preference, and that’s what makes it fun!

After reading this thread for the upteenth time, and reading all 70+ pages about the mid arm lift on Jeep Forum...I think I need to do a "Stage Three" (35's and mid arm) on my build. This LJ just looks so, so, right. Its like everything I could ever imagine wanting on my "Dream" jeep.

Well Done @mrblaine . You sir, can create and execute better than most. It is apparent in your comments and in the pictures you post. You are a true craftsman, in every sense of the word.

17", high quality OEM, readily available for very little money, and they are aesthetically pleasing to both myself and the owner although my opinion doesn't matter but I like them as well. What other high quality 17" rim are you going to find for 50 bucks each? That's the price of a cheap steelie.

Certainly a factor but not the sole criteria.

Good points. Easy on the wallet is always good and finding replacments if needed will be hopefully easily sourced locally too.

Nice! I see they went with a narrower width tire as well. I run tires that are narrow width as well, since it suits the way I use my TJ more appropriately.
