If its total shit, Id rather not buy, but this is just a budget build Jeep for my 9 year old who wont be driving for awhile yet (Thats what I keep telling my wife) Just not sure about the shocks and what not for ride quality

Presently theres ~2”+? spacers in front springs that I think are hurting the ride quality

I still have the rest of the arms and steering to upgrade. End goal is really just a DD with a little off roading here and there, but nothing extreme. I just want the entire suspension & steering all new

I think most forum members will say this is not a quality kit. Is it better than what you have? Possibly. For $300 it could be a fun project to have your 9 year old help install it and get involved with wrenching on the Jeep.

If only the kit came with their Black Max shocks and the price was around $150.

$300 for those parts is too expensive imo.

Skyjacker hydro shocks were the budget go-to shock 15 years ago. Now it's Rancho RS5000X.

Like I said Im replacing EVERYTHING suspension & steering related under the Jeep

I've been using Zone 4.25" combo lifts on several of my Jeeps for many years. My current Jeep has had one on it for around 7 years and the springs haven't sagged at all. Some Ebay sellers have it with the Rancho shock option.

Springs are springs, get some that give 3” or less and use a spacer to get the ride height.

3” is a hard height to get good length shocks from. By good I mean that end up giving you 50:50 travel so the shock is riding where it’s supposed to be. Poor ride quality is due to a shock riding in the stroke where it’s not supposed to or poor valving for a TJ. My Rancho 5000X 55239/56241 were too long at 3”. They were better at 3.5”.

JKS adjustable track bars for your build.
JKS quick disconnects
Extended rear sway bar links
JB SSSYE
Tom Wood DC rear
Adjustable rear CA’s

To avoid the driveline issues at 3” suspension lift, look at doing 2+ 1” combo lift. This would negate the need for the SSSYE, DC, and adjustable rear CA’s. Or go with the 3” and get a 1” MML. That will likely work too.
